
This is the bottom view of Rocky's chassis.
You can clearly see the two switchable transaxles with integral differentials and protective bash plates.
The gearbox is in the middle, also protected by bash plates that form part of the chassis - this is called "stressed member" mounting. The universal joints exit front (left) and rear (right) of the gearbox.
The motor is mounted at the rear (right) just under the rear uni joint (the silvery casing). It's extremely well protected!
